Tikka Masala

A classic creation from the northwest frontier of India. This curry sauce has a rich blend of tomato, onion, and yoghurt. The combination of exotic spices gives this curry a mild to medium flavour.

Serving Suggestion

Method

  1. Seal meat or vegetables in a hot, oiled saucepan
  2. Add the simmer sauce and stir until bubbling
  3. Turn heat down to low and simmer until meat or vegetables are tender (20 mins for vegetables or chicken, longer for red meats)
  4. Serve with steamed basmati rice

What You'll Need

  • 1kg of Diced Chicken, Lamb, Beef, Seafood or Vegetables
  • 500g (2 cups) of basmati rice
  • Optional: 150ml of natural yoghurt

Chef's Note

For some extra zing, try stirring a few tablespoons of natural yoghurt into your tikka masala before serving
