A delicious blend of Sri Lankan flavours, enriched by Indian and colonial influences. This popular curry is mild in flavour and will be loved by the entire family.

Serving Suggestion


  1. Seal meat or vegetables in a hot, oiled saucepan.
  2. Toss through the potato cubes.
  3. Add the simmer sauce and stir until bubbling.
  4. Turn heat down to low and simmer until meat or vegetables are tender (20 mins for veg or chicken, longer for red meats).
  5. Before serving mix through coconut milk & heat until bubbling.
  6. Serve with steamed basmati rice.

  • 1 kg Chicken, Lamb, Beef, Seafood or Veg
  • 2 Medium Potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 150ml Coconut Milk
  • 500g (2 cups) of Basmati Rice

Chef's Note

For a sweeter flavour, replace the potato with sweet potato & follow the instructions as before
