Pakistani Chicken Curry

A classic creation reigning from Pakistan. This curry sauce has a rich blend of tomato and ginger. The combination of exotic spices gives this curry a medium flavour.

Serving Suggestion


  1. Seal meat in a hot, oiled saucepan
  2. Add the simmer sauce, stir and cover with lid
  3. Turn heat down to low and simmer until the meat is fully cooked (20 mins for veg or chicken, longer for red meat)
  4. Serve with steamed basmati rice

What You'll Need

  • 1kg diced chicken, lamb or beef
  • 500g (2 cups) of basmati rice
  • optional: 4 tablespoons of natural yoghurt

Chef's Note

For a creamier curry, stir through 4 tablespoons of natural yoghurt before serving.
