Korma is a popular choice of the ‘khansamas’ (cooks) of India. The sauce is mild in flavour, featuring piquant spices and thickened with cashew, almonds, coconut and yoghurt.

Serving Suggestion

Method

  1. Seal meat or vegetables in a hot, oiled saucepan
  2. Add the simmer sauce and stir until bubbling
  3. Turn heat down to low and simmer until meat or vegetables are tender (20 mins for vegetables or chicken, longer for red meats)
  4. Serve with steamed basmati rice

  • 500 (2 Cups) of Basmati Rice
  • Optional: 150ml of natural yoghurt

Chef's Note

for a creamier taste stir a few tablespoons of natural yoghurt into your korma before serving
