I am a middle-aged, full-time working professional Mum with Uni student daughter (yep you guessed it – still living at home) plus hungry husband . What a revelation to have stumbled come across your product in the super-market one year ago…….. Passage to India curry has been our regular family dinner every Sunday night. Be it the Korma -my daughter’ favourite, the Vindaloo – my husband’ fave and the Tikka Masala my own fave and not to mention the Butter Chicken…… we LOVE your product!!!!!!. We are all health conscious people who take our food seriously and I was a little wary as I used my first packet of shop bought curry paste, but all fears were dispelled as we sat down to a veritable gourmand’s delight. With my own side dishes of pappadums, yoghurt, sultanas, bananas, almonds, coconut and diced tomatos with cucumber, it feels like a home-cooked meal but truly tastes like a restaurant level dish.
Today, I was shopping again and with no idea for dinner……… and I saw one of your newer products Passage to Morocco – the Moroccan Harissa Tomato & Bell Pepper Beef……… fantastic….. the meat has been bought the cous-cous will be made and some light vegies will be steamed to add to my meal….. Hubby has gone out to buy a bottle of Shiraz….. we all can’t wait.
Many thanks for such a great product……..
I keep spreading the word.
I have lived in Australia over 20 years and have visited a great many Indian restaurants in search of an authentic vindaloo similar to the ones I enjoyed back in the UK. I consider myself an Indian food connoisseur. I have so often been disappointed after travelling miles to a previously untried Indian eatery only to be told that “the food is tempered to suit the western palate”. I have driven miles out of my way to buy packet Vindaloo pastes from Indian supermarkets – None come close to your Vindaloo – It is EXCELLENT.
My wife claimed the compliments for several hours before showing me the empty sachet. Next morning I went to the supermarket and purchased their remaining stock of Vindaloo – I cannot wait to try the other varieties – well done!
Just a quick note to compliment you on your Passage to India sauces, they are fantastic. I’m not a very good cook at all, and hate it when you have to get so many different ingredients to make such things as Indian curries, Thai food etc. We love the Rogan Josh, Kofta and Butter Chicken but our favourite is the Balti Curry it’s sensational. I presently have 9 packets of Balti in the pantry so please, please don’t ever discontinue these great curries! Well done! keep up the good work!
G’day there, Chris et al,
Congratulations on keeping what was obviously your original intention, to reproduce and make available the real taste of Indian cooking, alive and well all these years after you originally set things up. To have been able to maintain the quality through a ‘takeover’ is astounding, and you are obviously a great team.
This on the basis of one sachet, bought and used as a trial today. :)
Tomorrow I’m off to raid the local Aldi for more, before they disappear, and then I’ll be off to try to find regular local suppliers. My meal tonight was just like being back in the Middle East, with real Indian chefs * cooks cooking what they knew best, not what they were told was the taste that the locals ‘preferred’. Great work. Well done & thanks.

I feel I must comment on the quality, flavors and packaging of your superb products.
Flavors, excellent, most authentic, especially when I compare with food back ‘home’ in Singapore. There are lots of so called ‘Asian’ Sauces on the market, most of which I’ve tried and I have been totally disappointed. Since ALDI started started stocking ‘Passage Food Products’ of course I need not shop around, the VINDALOO, TIKKA (my favorites) are particularly good, there’s been no compromise!
I liked the design layout and the printed information on the packages too, especially the allergen statement. I can’t use cream (Dairy foods allergy) however, I can and do use Coconut milk which is perfect.
Thank you for manufacturing a truly delicious product.I hope I shall see Singaporean/Malaysian sauces sometime in the future, meantime, best wishes to all concerned.
